Dear Colleagues, dear Friends of Surger-I-nnsbruck,

we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to the “European Consensus Meeting on Peri- and Postoperative Management following Liver Resection”, scheduled from December 12th to 13th, 2024. This event will take place as part of the bi-annual HPB meeting, "Surger-I-nnsbruck," hosted in the picturesque city of Innsbruck, Austria.

This meeting aims to bring together the broad variety of specialties involved in hepatobiliary surgery addressing the intricate challenges surrounding liver resection which are characterized by the complex interplay between patient factors, malignancy, and liver function. As per tradition, distinguished speakers will give an update on the rapidly evolving field of hepatobiliary surgery and share their experiences in complex cases in a video session.

The consensus faculty represents multiple disciplines involved in this field with well-balanced groups of senior and junior, female as well as male participants from a large number of different European countries. The aim of this collaborative effort is to discuss and provide clinical guidance on selected perioperative issues and postoperative complication management.

The meeting will be endorsed by esteemed organizations, including E-AHPBA, the Austrian Chapter of E-AHPBA, ESSO, ERAS, and ESSR.

Join us for this exciting experience and be part of the establishment of the “European Consensus Meeting on Peri- and Postoperative Management following Liver Resection”.

We look forward to welcoming you to Innsbruck in December 2024!

Best regards,

Assoc. Prof. PD Manuel Maglione, MD, MBA, FEBS (hpb)
